What about just syncing to the Mac so that editing can continue there in one's preferred desktop editor? I would use Phraseology on the iPad and BBEdit on the Mac.

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/12841799252

Ironic, just sent you an email with pictures celebrating Terminology compared to the built-in dictionary. Must be a new meme :D

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/11663546627

I prefer the 0.5mm version, but my weapon on choice is also the Pentel Twist-Erase.

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/11663546627

I am a lefty...and, yes, the side of my hand has been known to shimmer with the soft sparkle of graphite.

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/11663546627

Any southpaw will prefer quick-drying pens to pencils.

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/11397233584

Congrats!

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/11397233584

That is fabulous news. I'm a big fan of Terminology via Instapaper.

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/11397233584

Well done, congrats, man

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/11397233584

Congrats, Greg, :-)

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/6975506076

Tweetbot is there on the iPhone version already. There is absolutely no excuse for a new project to be designed without an intelligent delete system in place, though. Sadly most developers never give it thought at the early stages.

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/4416030458

I agree there's some places confirmation is reasonable, or even desirable -- but "it's hard" isn't necessarily a good reason not to do it.

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/4416030458

Being able to undo an action, while potentially easy to implement, requires thought at the very early stages of development. If you have an existing application and implement a delete feature, would you rather display an alert or re-factor your entire back-end data structures and front-end logic to facilitate it?

That being said, your point of UNDO is valid and a delete should always just update a flag in the dataset and all GETs or LISTs should check this flag. Doing hard DELETEs in any system is a pretty big risk - not only for your customers but also for you if you have to answer "Where did my data go?"

Re: http://blog.agiletortoise.com/post/3564424414

You admit to not reading the ToS.
